About us
SUN SKI & BOARD SCHOOL is a ski school association whose main line of business is a wide portfolio of offered service, such as running ski and snowboard schools, sports-equipment rentals, organization of educational and commercial courses, educational seminars, providing commerical spaces for advertisment and organization of bespoke events for companies. The association was established on 9thOctober 2001 and it is a composition of several individual business units. Its annual turnover is about 20 million CZK and other contractors with the same business intent can join in.
Its main purpose is to create a united and strong network of commerical ski schools and rentals which provide a high-quality service and also to ensure a strong business position.
It areas involve 15 ski resorts in Sumava, Krkonose, Orlicke hory, Jizerske hory, Jeseniky and Beskydy.
It has two service organizations – SUN service and APLŠ (Association of Professional Ski Schools). SUN service provides business and marketing activities for the association. APLŠ provides and organizes educational courses and seminars. Ski and snowboard instructors trained by APLŠ have the opportunity to work in commerical ski schools. APLŠ is an educational organization accredited by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
We apply up-to-date teaching methr.s and knowledge, in various languages, in an entertaining way, both children and adults. Each branch office has a ski kindergarten designed for the youngestand always a rentalwith modern ski and snowboard equipment not older than 3 years.
